The Faculty of Information Technology was established in the academic year 1996. At the first time, a master's degree was established, a Master of Science program. Information Technology Program at King Mongkut's Institute of Technology North Bangkok, Prachinburi.
On 2 July 2001, the institute decided to transfer the Faculty of Information Technology from Prachinburi to Bangkok. The first time was temporarily established on the 9th floor of the multipurpose building. There are two educational programs, namely the Master of Science program. Information Technology (Thai Program) and Master of Science Program Information Technology. (International Program)
After the Nawamindra Rajini Building Construction and decoration have been completed. In 2002, the Faculty of Information Technology was relocated to 4th, 5th, 6th floors and the following year, the Institute gave another floor to the 7th floor, a total of 4 floors. Division of Administration and Operations The Faculty has developed a more complete and systematic form of administration. There are different deans and vice deans who are responsible for the administration of education.
1. Master of Science (M.Sc.) program in Information Technology and offers 2 courses which are Information Technology and Information Technology.
2. Master of Science (MSc.) Program in Information Technology (International), which only teaches in the field of Information Technology.
3. Doctor of Philosophy Program (Ph.D.) in Information Technology.
4. Doctor of Philosophy Program (Ph.D.) in Information Technology. (International)
5. Master of Science Program (M.Sc.) in Management Information Systems.
6. Master of Science Program (MSc.) in Management Information Systems. (International)
In 2012, the Faculty of Information Technology Improve the curriculum to 4 courses to meet the needs of the labor market. in the field of data communication and networking The Faculty therefore requested to establish the Department of Information Communication and Networking. Initially, the department manages teaching and learning courses in the Master of Science program. Information Technology Program in the field of Data Communication and Networking and later upgraded to a Master of Science program Data Communication and Networking.
