Co-operative education in the Product Owner position at Makro, CP Axtra Public Company Limited

Mrs. Sachini Merangika Rajapaksha Mudiyanselage, a fourth-year undergraduate student in the Bachelor of Science in Informatics for Digital Economy (International Program), participated in the co-operative education program as a Product Owner at Makro, CP Axtra Public Company Limited.

During my co-operative education program at Makro, I have developed valuable skills and experiences in agile methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, which have boosted project efficiency. I mastered Figma for designing and prototyping user interfaces, and Miro Board for collaborative brainstorming and project planning. My communication skills have significantly improved, enabling me to effectively convey information to team members and stakeholders using appropriate technical language. Working within a product team has taught me the dynamics of different roles and collaboration, crucial for my future career. Additionally, using project management tools like Slack and Monday.com has enhanced my task coordination and management, ensuring smooth project progress.
