Co-operative Education in Action!
Our international Co-operative Education program is off to a strong and inspiring start!
Kriza Claire Dumaguing, a dedicated student from the Bachelor of Science Program in Informatics for Digital Economy (International Program), Faculty of Information Technology and Digital Innovation, KMUTNB, is currently undertaking her UX/UI internship at the University of Canterbury, New Zealand.
She is working under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Thammathip Piumsomboon, Research Lead at the QUADRIC research lab, where she explores the intersection of user experience, interaction design, and emerging technologies. https://www.quadriclab.org/
Over the past four weeks, Kriza has fully immersed herself in research, ideation, and exploration—where creativity meets empathy in digital design. Her journey so far showcases a thoughtful balance between analytical thinking and user-centered innovation. Highlights include analyzing UX in the mental health app Wysa, exploring AI-assisted education through Khanmigo, and proposing StudySync, an AI-powered learning platform featuring human-AI interaction tools.
This internship is more than just industry exposure—it’s a platform for students like Kriza to engage in global research, strengthen their UX/UI skills, and contribute to the next generation of educational technology with empathy, purpose, and innovation.
Keep shining, Kriza! We’re proud of your journey and can’t wait to see what’s next.
