On 30 April 2024, Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Suchart Siengchin, the President of King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), Prof. Dr. Saowanit Sukparungsee,Vice President for Academic Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Dr.-Ing. Sunantha Sodsee, Dean of ITD, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Siranee Nuchitprasitchai (Director of I-BIT) signed a Memorandum of Understanding between King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB) and Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology (TNI)with Assoc. Prof. Rungsun Lertnaisat, the President of Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology (TNI) and TNI executives.

The objective is to promote academic cooperation focusing on producing new potential graduates for the workforce, enhancing the development of academic personnel, supporting academic and student support staff, exchanging knowledge, and utilizing academic resources jointly. The MOU also aims to promote and support collaborative research for innovation and new knowledge development, as well as to collaborate in providing academic services to the community, both public and private sectors, organizing conferences, seminars, and other academic activities at both national and international levels. The signing ceremony took place at the Ratchapruk Meeting Room, Navamindrarajini Building.
