On 26 September 2024, Asst. Prof. Dr. Dr.-Ing. Sunantha Sodsee, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology and Digital Innovation, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Siranee Nuchitprasitchai, Chair of the Bachelor of Science Program in Informatics for Digital Economy (International Program) at KMUTNB are representative of King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB) for signing an academic cooperation agreement (MOU) with Qingdao University of Science and Technology (QUST), Qingdao, China.

A delegation from QUST, host by Prof. SHEN Wenqing, Deputy Secretary (Vice President for International Affairs), along with Assoc. Prof. ZHANG Shuhai, Dean of International College, Prof. DU Junwei, Deputy Dean of the Data Science College, and Prof. CHEN Bing, Deputy Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office, visited KMUTNB, engaged in in-depth discussions with KMUTNB executives to explore potential collaborative research initiatives.

The MOU ceremony marked the continuation of the partnership between KMUTNB and QUST, first established in 2013. This visit reaffirmed the strong commitment to cooperation between the two universities and represented a significant step forward in strengthening ties and expanding joint academic and research opportunities.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by administrators and staff from both universities. The partnership aims to promote academic exchange, research collaboration, and capacity building for students and staff in the fields of science and technology. Both institutions are eager to create opportunities for future joint projects and enhance international relations.
