Asst. Prof. Dr. Dr.-Ing. Sunantha Sodsee, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology and Digital Innovation, along with Prof. DU Junwei, Deputy Dean of the Data Science College, and their colleagues, engaged in a productive series of discussions aimed at exploring opportunities for collaborative research between their respective institutions. Over the course of a 10-day visit, the delegation examined various shared interests, including advancements in data science, digital innovation, and potential avenues for cross-border research that could benefit both universities.
These discussions focused on establishing a foundation for future joint research projects and exchange programs designed to broaden academic and research experiences for students and faculty alike. The delegation had the opportunity to tour research centers, laboratories, and technological facilities at each institution, providing them with a firsthand understanding of the resources and expertise available. Areas of interest explored included urban 3D reconstruction, disaster monitoring, industrial data analytics, autonomous system technologies, and biomedical big data applications.
The visit underscored a commitment to fostering a lasting partnership aimed at leveraging each institution’s strengths to create impactful research and educational opportunities. This collaboration marks a significant step toward expanding academic ties and building new pathways for joint projects that would enhance learning, research, and international engagement between Thailand and China.
