Learning Express (LeX) KMUTNB-SP Collaboration Program 2025 between 30 March and 10 April 2025
Hosted by King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok – Prachinburi Campus
Mr. Sanguansak Sanphen and Mr. Patcharapruk Anurak, students from the Bachelor of Science Program in Informatics for Digital Economy (International Program), have been selected as student representatives to participate in the Learning Express (LeX) KMUTNB-SP Collaboration Program 2025!
The Learning Express (LeX) 2025 program, a continued collaboration between KMUTNB and Singapore Polytechnic (SP), empowers students to address real-world challenges through community-based innovation. This year’s program maintained its emphasis on practical frameworks such as Design Thinking, SPICE, and POEMS, guiding students in developing impactful solutions grounded in empathy and user-centered design.
Over the course of the initial three days, students from both institutions immersed themselves in the Baan Noen Hom community in Prachinburi. Through hands-on experiences—such as crafting herbal soap and mosquito repellent using local plants and fruits—students gained firsthand insight into the community’s culture, livelihood, and day-to-day challenges. Interviews with villagers helped uncover key behavioral patterns, needs, and obstacles faced by residents.
Leveraging these insights, student teams worked collaboratively to analyze data, identify core problems, and ideate innovative solutions. The process culminated in the creation of functional prototypes, which were presented during a Gallery Walk session to gather feedback from community members and academic mentors.
This unique program not only strengthens cross-cultural collaboration but also equips students with the mindset and tools to drive sustainable change in society.
